Common locations for Ford ECA and PCM applications

Please understand that the example codes are purely examples, there are many other codes that your computer could be, if your code is not shown we can still make a chip for your car. There is no chip code we cannot do (that we know of). Even if there are no code examples for your car we can still make a chip. This chip isn't replacing a chip in your computer, it's piggy backed to the existing computer you have. It interrupts the factory settings, and supplies our own.

Locating your computer code.
Locate your computer. If you have trouble locating your computer, please call us at (403)377-2277 8:30am - 6:00p.m. MST .On the bolt in harness connector of your computer is a white sticker measuring about 1x4" with a UPC bar code on it. On the sticker above the bar code should be a set of BIG BOLD letter and numbers those are the numbers we need.
The alpha numeric code should be on its' own, usually ranging from 3-4 digits. See the above examples.
If you are unsure what numbers we need, write them all down. In the rare event that the code is so new that we don't have the internal computer code, we need your computer sent to us.

How not to find your box code.
DO NOT take the numbers printed onto the other side of the box. The numbers we need are on a white sticker on the computer as indicated above.
DO NOT look on the door jam -- it's in the hinge area. The emissions calibration code or any other set of numbers found there will not aid us.
DO NOT copy down the VIN number. We need the number off of the computer.
DO NOT call your Ford Dealer for the numbers -- they will laugh at you. Ten identical vehicles of the same make, model, and year can easily have different computer codes. Your Ford dealer cannot guarantee the correct code for your vehicle.

Once you have those numbers we can program your chip.
When calling or E-mailing an order we need to know the computer code, make, model, and year of your car, the engine size and any after market parts you may have added already -- remember our performance chips are computer code specific -- that's why they're the best !!
